Yeah, lime is the basic flavor. Like margaritas. The strawberry ones are the abberation.

Well a margarita is basically a sidecar iirc. Only with tequila and lime instead of cognac and lemon. Not sure what a sidecar made with rum is called. A daquiri doesn't have orange liqueur.
