So my new apartment in Vietnam has two induction heating stove top burners. I thought I was absolutely going to hate it.
I love cooking on my gas burners at home. But I must say after a weeks work cooking I do like them them a lot. Not more than gas mind you.
You can control the heat very well. Almost close to that of gas. The pans and pots just don't seem to be flaming hot like that of gas.
Would be safer for older folk for a couple of reason. I would think it would be extremely difficult to start a fire with them, I find I can easily slide pots and pans on and off the stove top surface.
I wonder if anyone of you have similar experiences?
