So I posted this on the Outdoors Board with little response. Thought I'd come to you guys to see what you think.

I have a pre-cooked, smoked turkey that I received as a gift. It's been in my deep freeze since Christmas. I'll be smoking a ham for Easter lunch. I was hoping to throw this turkey on the egg with the ham for the last few hours to essentially heat it up to serve.

Anyone ever done anything similar to this?

Any thoughts on the process? I usually do not foil any of my bbq, but I'm going to with this to retain moisture and prevent too much smoke infiltration. How long should I run the turkey with my ham?

If the temp on the egg isn't too high just plop the turkey in a pan and cover with food grade plastic wrap (or foil). Should turn out fine.

I use Aaron Franklin's method to brine and smoke them and it turns out great. Only problem I have now is I get stuck with bird duty for Thanksgiving now. It is always requested.
