I've seen them or something that makes making them somewhat seem easy. Wanting to learn to make tamales and anything to help the process would be great.

AgsMnn- Fiesta has a tamale kit which has the shucks and spices for about 5 dozen. The spreader makes applying the masa quite easy.

I used one mike gave away a few years ago this past weekend for about 36 dozen tamales. As mentioned, it really makes spreading the masa easy.
