Any brand recommendations for kitchen shears that can cut the backbone out of a turkey?

I have an $8 pair from Kesco in Bryan. Haven't tried them on anything that big but they have a notch at the back that helps with heavy cutting like that. They also come apart for cleaning super easy.

Edge Resources is on one blade but I can't find anything to speak of about them online. Go down to the restaurant supply and grab whatever they have.

Or....they do call it a Sawzall because, well, ALL.

I think Cutco knives are a joke, but, have to admit their shears are top notch

We had a kid who was selling cutco come out and pitch us. Solely for the purpose of buying the shears.

These will run you about $20 at Academy or Cabela's. Designed for cleaning game, but make great poultry shears as well.

Cutco. It's the best money can buy.
I used to run an Orvis endorsed hunting lodge and we cleaned 50-100 quail a day and the Cutcos were the only thing that held up. After the end of quail season, we would send them off, and they would send us new ones.
