Saw that too. There are people that hit liquor stores in damn near every city they travel to for work. Quality over qty. those types prolly don't pass on whatever Blantons I just walked by in duty free. I just don't get it.

It goes far beyond that they must have zero friends as well. We all have stupid ideas, your friends are supposed to check you on them. Anyone who thinks decoraing your stairs and stairway with bourbon is a good idea obiviously doesn't have anyone to tell them they are a ****ing moron. This is just a hoarder plain and simple.

I......drink my whiskey. When a bottle is done, I buy another. I have maybe 3-5 open at any given time, and usually it's all different stuff. I don't get the hoarding at all unless it's a bunker mentality and you just want to have what you drink on hand

People hoard everything you can think of, why would bourbon be different. Especially in this social media age, why people immediately post crotch pictures and pictures of their collections (me included).

Personally, most would consider me a hoarder. I had a chance of a lifetime to buy a bunch of stuff at msrp so did. Ive just about quit drinking (drink a couple of bottles of wine a month) since so it just sits.

I don't really think of myself as a hoarder or collector. We've got a lot of bottles but they are nearly all open and everything is available to any of our guests. We just like having lots of options.
