I agree with that statement as well. ACL in SA recently dropped a store pick of JD single barre barrel proof, and they still have some left...it's pretty good.

I have a friend that says just to stay patient. Avoid the FOMO as these will be sitting on the shelves like the other offerings.

From my understanding the JD stuff is slated to be normal releases. In a few months i anticipate them all being relatively easy to find.

They had these Hero's Selection releases at Fort Sam a month or two ago. 6 cases. I'd be happy to get you and Know Your Enemy a bottle. I got one for LPHA a while back. I should be there in a couple weeks. Just keep paying your taxes.

I'm 100% in agreement. I think JD will move the $h1te out of this stuff. The slow roll built up hype AFTER the reviews came in which I've seen nothing but solid words said about both.

Genius idea marketing wise for JD IMHO.

Was that 25% discount something they sent in an email? I see the bundles online but don't see the discount so wondered if it was for 'members'.

ETA: Disregard. The 25% discount comes up in the cart when you order. It is a dang good deal.

Smoke Wagon is no longer allocated in most parts of DFW. Not sure it ever should have been.

The Private Barrel, Desert Rose, Experimental Rye are awesome though.

Specs in Houston often has them in allocation area.
But last week I saw regular old Bulleit on the table sooooo….sometimes I think they just use it to push product on people who don't know any better. Built in scarcity.

Was able to get a Stagg yesterday at retail from Spec's. My wife and I had a pour last night and it was really tasty. This is one that I'm hoping to find a backup, because it's not going to last in my house lol. It drinks below its proof and has a an awesome mouthfeel and long finish (our opinion). I hope you all are able to find one too.
