Bourbon Review usually highlights the upcoming releases. I haven't seen that issue yet, but that would be a good place to watch.
The "Anniversary" releases may be once every 5 years, but Four Roses has a Limited Edition of their Single Barrel, and of their Small Batch each year. The 2013 LE SmB was released as part of the 125th Anniversary. They might try to kick it up a notch for the anniversary releases, but the 2011 and 2012 LE SmB were both excellent.

Nice drinking with you fellas. I poured the last of my George T Stagg from 2012, expecting to drink it when Johnny got drafted. I got impatient. So, an hour and a half later, I have now poured myself some Four Roses 125th. Do I forgive Jerrah for firing Tom Landry (never), or at least give him another chance if Johnny wears a blue star?

Had some of the AE Rye from this year's release tonight. Holy moly, that was some good stuff. Almost had a creamy finish to it. It may well be the Belle of the Ball for me right now, i will definitely pick up a bottle soon.
Looks like Larceny has adjusted their prices. The 1.75 that cost around $33 last year (STEAL!) is now $45 at Total Wine. It had been my go-to everyday, but now it will go back into a rotation with Makers and Knob.

I liked the tasting, but I'm always partial to Makers 46. Good distillery tour too. Just need something to venture out to...prefer sweeter Bourbons with a longer finish.

Makers 46 is good stuff.
Makers 46 does nothing for me. All I get on the nose and palate is tobacco. Lots and lots of tobacco.
Really? It's certainly not the most complex whiskey out there, but I get more than just tobacco. I fact, I'm not sure I get any tobacco from it.
Makers 46 is pretty solid stuff. I would recommend it to anyone who does not already have an extensive bourbon collection. Its good enough to keep you happy until you finish converting your children's play room into an auxiliary bourbon storage room.
Picked up a Jefferson's Ocean Aged and Hochstadter's "Slow & Low" Rock & Rye bottle old fashioned. Haven't had a chance to dig in to the Ocean, yet, but for $22 the bottled cocktail is a great sipper in a pinch.
