Question for the board: My fianc won a bottle of Weller CYPB in a lottery this weekend in Denver and I am thinking about flipping it. I don't have much interest in drinking a bottle of bourbon that could potentially be used to fund the entire alcohol budget at our wedding in 2022 (Small wedding, only ~40 people). How do y'all go about selling bourbon? It seems that every where I have looked on social media (Facebook, reddit etc.) there are strict rules against selling. I know this is a sensitive subject here, so sorry in advanced.

I got married 10 years ago and the parents paid for it......I am not sure what budget you are looking at for alcohol at a small wedding of 40 is.

The most I've seen a CYBP trade for is 900.....I typically see that bottle trade for 800.

Also, we have a separate thread on here where people trade bottles for cash or other bottles.

I'd die laughing if a bar offered a flight of:

1. Balcones Shiner
2. Blackened (Metallica's whiskey)
3. Sweeten's Cove (Peyton Manning)

I wouldn't pay $50 to try all those.

We're headed to Michigan for vacation soon - specifically the Muskegon area. I'll pick up a bottle of New Riff just because I want to try it. Is there any bourbon I should be on the lookout for that I can not get in Texas?

In Michigan, other than New Riff, you can find Mayor Pingree and Traverse City. The Traverse City SiB is wonderful.

Frustrated at TW, so I walked out with a 375 of Jack Barrel Proof and a 375 of Jack single rye. Must say, i'm enjoying both quite a bit more than i expected.
