I'm assuming that acronym is straight bourbon whiskey since the other option is dickel (Tennessee)

What would the pick actually be bottled as? Barrell?

Uncut/ unfiltered 17 year Dickel. Barrel would yield between 150-180 bottles. Cost somewhere between $50-60 per. Will get more info this week.

Howdy,

Longtime lurker to this thread and current grad student at A&M. I would love to jump in on barrel pick. I know from experience how critical it is to get in on these things early on. Dickel is quite polarizing to some, but depending on the barrel there is decent product out there from them in NDP sourced arena.

Also, We can likely find a shop to buy at cost and sell anything we don't want. I know Brazos Valley Bourbon Society does that with TL.

LMAO, hopefully in the next 5 years.

But in all honestly, it would be cool to all try it out together if we were to meet up. I have never even had dickel. It might be better if I kept it that way until the bottles come in.
