Lucked into the Little Book at WB. Saw the case sitting on the floor in the manager's area. Specs is where I scored the rest. A little secret that not all of you might not understand. Not all the Specs stores go off the allocation list. Honestly, the allocation is just about worthless. Several of the stores hold bottles for their regulars. Get to know the managers and the guys working the bourbon aisles. Have conversations with them and don't always go in looking for the allocated items.

Ok so you got them from Specs, through employee favor. Good on ya.

I didn't even wast time at the two specs near me because they claim they never have stuff allocated (eagle rare as an exception)

New to the forums and then obviously this thread. So not scrolling back through 10 years of posts.

I love my expensive pours and have a shelf full of them. But for everyday pours, hard to go wrong with EW1783. It's a great bargain at sub $20.00. Thoughts?

It - and EW White Label - are considered some of the top cheapest pours. Buffalo Trace just a little more expensive.

EW white or SiB are really good for the price.
