Which Orphan Barrel ... some are better than others. And, like most bourbon these days, all dependent on price. Never had Blood Oath, can't weigh in there but have seen it in the wild somewhat frequently for around $100.

It's decent, but nothing else they makes comes close to their distillery-only single barrel releases. That's not to hate on the blue label, but the distillery only is damn good. At least for my taste.

Any leads in the Houston area on the Parker's Heritage 11 yr bourbon, I'd love to get a heads up. I missed out on last years release and wish I had been able to get that one. I know they were just bottling it a couple weeks ago so it's still probably a month or two away from hitting Texas.

Twin Liquors College Station is doing a whiskey tasting tonight. If you show up between 6-7pm you are entered into a raffle for the chance to purchase OFBB. Reading the small print you have to be present and it sounds like multiple bottles will be drawn.
