Any recommendations of good liquor stores besides Spec's in Houston? Almost all of the other stores I've been to have had awful selections.

New poster to this forum. Enjoyed reading this thread so far. Not new to bourbon but expanding my taste. Been on a Four Roses Small Batch kick for a good while and like it as my go to. What other bourbons in the $25-$50 range do y'all recommend?

Special request: anyone have any 2016 Old Forester Birthday Blend you might be willing to part with - or know where I can get it in North Houston area?

Michters 10 and 20 year have very quietly dropped in the southeastern states behind counters. Big stores are getting a box of three 10 years. The 20 year is going mostly to restaurants.

The 10 year is delicious; like the Toasted edition, but with the nose and finish smoothed off. One of my favorites of the year so far, behind the Larue.

Yes. Only bottle this certain establishment had. Got it because someone else asked for a bottle, this Place got it for said guy, and he didn't show up to claim..

I have a nice 3/4 full vintage 2013 Sunny Brook. I will trade you straight up for it. It is Sunny Brook's premium......glass bottle edition

On those BTAC bottles you had, did you just open them? Wondering because I have a handy opened last year and it still tastes great, just trying to gauge when I need to start enjoying that one with more regularity.

I have 3 BTAC all prior to '08 and all have been open for 6 or so years. OR long ago eno ugh ago that I can't remember when I opened them.
