Have not read thread but recently looked at an Aldi Ad that came w the paper and saw they have some pretty cheap 6 packs of stuff I had never heard of. There was a Belgium beer and an ipa and a few others. Anyone buy beer from there ever?

Update - found a source for one, and a saison de Brettaville, apricot de Brettaville and truthful statement. Seems like a win/win.

I should have "lost" one of Scriffer's bottles.

Because nothing says July 4th like habanero beer and flautas. Not a big fan of the beer, the heat spoils a great ipa.

I'm right there with you. I love Sculpin and I think all the variations make it less great. Habanero, pineapple, grapefruit. None of them are better than the original in my opinion.

I've personally never really gotten into the chili beers. I love spicy food and I love beer I just don't like the combination

To start out Independence Day I had a troll toll. Awesome name and bottle and whew that mother packs a punch.

so tonight, I went red, white, and blue with my beer consumption,. thought about doing a red ale, a white, and maybe something blueberry (cascade?), but I don't have any whites/wits in the fridge as they're not my preferred style. so I decided to just go with the color of the labels instead of style. working with what I have, I went rogue double chocolate stout (working on this one still), oddwood taming the savage heart, and chimay blue. for america. **** yeah.

JK MvB release this weekend. They are going to stagger the release to try and cut down on lines and such...

Seems like the end result will be a lot of individuals buying six bottles, but who knows.

The bottle counts for Friday seems low but I like that the Saturday bottle count should allow people a chance to show up after the line fizzles and still get bottles. Friday and Sunday will probably be gone within an hour of opening.

Headed to Seattle in a couple of weeks any recommendations? I am planning on stopping by Brouwer's, Freemont Brewing, Rooftop Brewing, Elysian (by the stadium), and maybe Pyramid Brewing. Any beer or food thoughts are appreciated!
