We're staying Saturday night in Austin. If there's a release that I care about that weekend I'll go. I wish we'd be able to get there earlier on Friday, but I doubt we leave Houston before 3.

Picked up a couple Figlets at Blackhawk Shell. They still had several left and also still have a pretty good amount of Avery Pumpkyn as well as Black Ops. I think the price tags on some of these have finally topped what the market will bare. They're just sitting around now. I wanted to try Black Ops but I couldn't talk myself into $21.99.

Did some work with DallasAggie tonight at Community's 3rd Anniversary party. Got to say, it was a pretty good time. Well worth the trip out there! Had a bunch of stuff on tap that wasn't normally available. Highly recommend going out there next year if you live/are in the Dallas area next year!

How was the crowd this year? Last year was way overpacked, to the point it took forever just to get a beer.

Way way better! Much more organized and they capped the number of tickets as well. We didn't wait in a line for more than about 2 minutes at any point during the event and got to try every specialty beer we wanted. Well worth the money this year and I will def go back next year again. I was somewhat skeptical how much better the crowd would be, but they did a full 180 on running the event smoothly.

What part of town? HEB Bunker Hill usually has some good stuff coming in.

Petrol Station and Hay Merchant are pretty good craft beer bars, too.

I'll be working pretty close to NASA. Haven't started the housing search in earnest yet, but I want to avoid having much of a commute.
