Rogeles was damn good. I'd put it up with corkscrew, haven't been to killens yet, and it was open on a Monday with a minimal line. Will have to check out the beef rib next go-round. Got a BBH at Karbach and this at st Arnold afterwards.

Putting together a package for a friend in San Diego. Any suggestions on local or available in Texas but not Cali beers? Preferably 750s.

So far I have a Yellow Rose, STW Sanguis, 5 Stones Melo Rainbow. Plan to grab some Jester King as well.

Depends on where you are located... Adelberts makes some good stuff. Along will Oddwood (brews at Adelberts).

Good call. Actually picked up the Whimsical Hibiscus Saison yesterday for the box.

Haven't seen Oddwood recently, but love what he is making.

WF Addison was supposed to get it today but I didn't get a chance to stop by..:

Chardonnay BA? I got the Cab (IIRC) BA one... Saving it.

Haven't seen Chardonnay.

But speaking of Chardonnay barrel aged... Elevation Signal de Botrange is one of my favorite beers of the past year in my plunge into craft beer. Now THAT is worth the $17

You are probably right, when I saw the price I turned away pretty quick. Nothing I have had from Deep Ellum has made me think I should buy that beer.
