Question: where do you guys get your resources from? Is there an aggregate blog out there that tracks everything you pay attention to (releases, etc...)?

I feel like paying attention to a specific brewery's website/blog/Twitter feed (Freetail, Jester King, for me...) is enough, let alone the hundreds you guys are talking about.

Where do you go to stay on the up and up?

Twitter is your best friend... Currently following close to 100 breweries/stores. Also... Beer Advocate is great for lurking. However, Talk Beer is far superior for the community.

Ok. I follow a few on Twitter and am on BA but I'll check out talk beer.

Pretty much what JAH said is what I do. Minus the BA forums. I never go there.

Has anyone tried the beers from Nebraska Brewing? Any good?

there's a relatively new bar in steamboat called the barley which is pretty good if you find yourself up there. 28 quality Colorado beers on tap plus 2 from out of state. Prices aren't bad either.

From what I read it is BS aged in bourbon barrels that were recently used to age maple syrup. Sounds awesome.

I believe that's the case, though if you saw any of the press surrounding it they make an effort to say they're just "partnering."

GF bought Alpine in November.

I didn't know that. I just hope that when we start seeing Alpine on shelves it isn't 3 months old already.
