I'm thankful I spend a lot of time in the Houston area because the distribution in this county is definitely not nearly as good as where I go in The Woodlands / Houston.

I would gladly give up the right one for another KBBS. Seriously one of the best beers I've ever tried and definitely worth what I had to give up for it.

quote:barrel aged beers have been around forever. The U.S. is just now catching on. All the Belgian styles; I love them. Duchesse, liefman, rodenbach, Petrus, etc. given how long this has been around, this is not a gimmick. This is a part of very old brewing techniques.
I am going to make a statement that will not go over well with most, but I am curious if I am the only one in the world that thinks this: barrel aged beers are over done, and gimmicky. Anyone out there agree? Or am I nuts?
