Having a Chocolate Oak aged Yeti. Solid but have had better. Cant quite put my finger on what flavor it is that I think throws it off.
Drinking a 004. I hope they bring this one back at some point.

I never tried it fresh, but it was good today. Pliny bottled on 3/25 is better.
Which one was 004? Cherries of fire? I think I have most but 001...although I did get one of the last batch of bodacious.
004 was Roll in the Hay
Ah, that's right. I'm sure they'll do it again since bodacious has turned up twice. Only one of that series that was disappointing was the last frageelay. I don't think it was aged long enough. Not worth any better than normal Yule, which is one of my favorite x-mas ales.

2013 old stock for me tonight
Crushed some Backcountry Imperial Saisons before dinner. Domed a couple whiskey and cokes with my steak and during the 1st period of the Avs game. Switching back to beer for the rest of the game.
Odell Tree shaker and then Clown Shoes Billionaire tonight. Both are great.
I'm in love with everything Odell ships to Texas. Their IPAs are great.
And as someone who doesn't drink much other than IPAs, this Billionaire is hitting the spot tonight. Snag one if you can.

Of the odell bombers I've had, which, admittedly aren't many, The only one I'd buy again would probably be the friek

Myrcenary is my favorite DIPA other than Heady.
I agree Jock. I don't think the 750mL lineup from Odell is very good. Well, I guess its more that they aren't worth the price tag.
It's funny, I copiously drink everything in Odell's regular lineup, but not the specialty stuff. I drink nothing from Averys regular lineup and only their specialty stuff.

One of my favorites
I received two boxes this weekend from California.
I sent the guy who sent that box two 4 packs of KBS for the Eclipse, Parabola, and the Pliny. The Blind Pig and Knee Deep were extras.
This box also arrived. It was a just because box from a guy over on TalkBeer. I'm really excited about the Almanac and getting to try another Logsdon Farms offering.

Had the 512 Double Pecan Porter on tap at lunch. Very tasty!

I'm trying to get out to their tasting room one of these weekends soon. They had a nice selection of some rare stuff at a Portland farmhouse and wild ale festival a few weeks back that I haven't found in bottles yet, hoping they might have it available at the brewery.
