Had a BR Apex last night, really enjoyed it. Have to go find Enjoy By. Anybody had Collaboration not Litigation? Picked one up but hadnt tried it yet.
My haul from JK today. The weather was great and aside from the lines, we had a great time. Got to see one of my best friend's and his family and spend some time with them.

I need to try Apex and grab an Enjoy By too. I did grab a Space Cake thanks to everyone's recommendation. But that will have to wait, because I'm having some Envie from Parish Brewing Co tonight.
Pretty solid pale ale. Much better than the No Label Pale Horse I had earlier today (as shocking as that may be).

Cerveza de Tempranillo, this is really good. It has the great sour foundation with flavors of red wine. Almost as if it were a blend of sour ale and red wine.
Go To IPA is nice. I just wish all session IPAs were distributed in cans.
Broke open some RU-55, Lakewood Temptress and Aginwood's Revenge tonight. Solid showing of beer to go along with homeade short rib and barley stew. The Aginwood's Revenge is excellent for those of you in Dallas who can grab a bottle of it. Very rich, sweet and smoky. It's very unlike anything Lakewood has done before, and for a 12.4% beer it is very very smooth.
The Temptress is unlike any beer I've ever had. It's amazing IMO.
With Dallas brewing beers like that, velvet hammer from peticolas and community's mosaic ipa, and even a few from revolver, it becomes unclear which city in Texas brews the best beer. The scene in Dallas has exploded into something amazing.

Yeah the Dallas scene has exploded in the last year or two into something amazing. It's just a matter of time until their beers start gaining a little wider distribution and popularity across Texas.
Grabbed a Lakewood Goatman at Kroger while grocery shopping. I've heard great things about it. They also had Enjoy By, and it's very tasty!

I just had peticolas golden opportunity(edit: which was delicious) and am now drinking a four corners el chingon. Not as good as I expected from the descript/reviews.
Up next is an imperial Texan, a red double ipa by Martin house in ft worth.

I was able to get Apex at the Spec's superstore in Dallas. That is one awesome beer. I love the aroma and it's not a complete taste bud destroyer.
went out to Jester King today. Weather sucked, but that meant no lines. I sat at Stanleys and drank beer I liked. Then I grabbed my reserved bottles of JK so I can trade them for better beer. 
I love it out at JK, but I'm just not a fan of most of their beers.

Clobby, where do you live? I get lots of good stuff at the Whip In in Flower Mound on Morriss just north of 3040. Great selection of craft beer.
This beer is awesome. Tart cherry and sour with a great dry finish.

It was a surprise from my Pops who lives up north. I somehow managed to get 4 Heady from Vermont on my own and he showed up at my door with many, many more. It was an awesome birthday.

The Odell Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is pretty tasty. Glad they're in Texas.
And speaking of Dallas beer, Community Mosaic IPA is damn good.

El Chingon and Local Buzz are both pretty forgettable. Block Party Porter is worth the price of admission, though.
Martin House's imperial Texan and cedar creek's Elliot phoned home.
Really liked both of them.
Just went back and looked at what all I had at the bottle shares during football season. Damn that was a good time. aggiejz, I'm more than willing to do one before a baseball game.
