Flying to Chicago/Wisconsin New Years Day through the 5th. Flying Southwest so I get 2 checked bags... Would I survive wearing shorts, a t-shirt, & flip flops the whole time? Got to make as much room as possible for beer.

I picked up a Boxers Revenge, an Abyss 2013, and 2 Bomb today. And later this week Noir hits shelves here.

Petrol will have noir on tap and in bottles tomorrow for NYE

Good stuff popping up in College Station while I'm not there. Cruel.

Chris, I have no idea if there is any still there. There was only 1 Abyss left after I grabbed the one I took. There was several bottles of Bomb. Probably 8 or so left after I took my two.

Big bag of nothing at total wine in dallas today, except clearance prices on Pumking ($6/bomber).

Didn't have much luck at Hubbell and Hudson or Woodlands Market, picked up some damn good groceries at HH though. Thanks for the recommendation Dave!

Hello ladies. I was stuck in the Texas panhandle for four days. What a beer wasteland. I did manage to find some FBS though.

My top five from 2013.

1)Toronado 25 - Quite possibly the best American wild ale I've ever had



2) Port/Lost Abbey Churchills Finest Hour - Just a wonderful blend of barrel aged stouts



3) Crooked Stave Bourbon Barrel Cherry Origins - Crooked Stave has put out some great beers in 2013 and this is my favorite.



4) Bourbon County Brand Cherry Rye - Didnt have this fresh, but when I did it was like a delicious chocolate covered cherry.



5) Stone Collab Dayman - This beer surprised me the most of any beer in 2013. I thought it would be terrible, but had to give it a shot as a coffee beer lover. Totally blew me away.

Cigar City White Oak Jai Alai - Tastes just like an orange creamsicle



Those were the best I tasted, but the most enjoyable beers I had this year were at our three Beer Thread bottleshares. I had a great time hanging out with you guys and I can't wait to do it again in 2014!

Great beer!!! I'm glad that you were able to source one. This was in my top 5 last year when I was at Toronado San Diego. I really wish I had been able to sneak out a bottle.

I was with you until Dayman. That was a ****ing shiite of a beer. It sat on the shelves a long time.

Phischy, I respect your unabashed hatred of Stone. Like I said, I'm a sucker for coffee beers and really enjoyed that brew.

HEB Hollemann was empty of both Abyss and Bomb when I got there before 4:00.....

Best beer I had all year was the Pumking. Maybe I'm a beer rube.

Some Racer X tonight. And I liked Dayman too, but I'm a sucker for IPAs and coffee beers.

Any Houston folk come across any more racer X lately? Haven't been looking hard, but would love a few more. Maybe downtown specs?

Buffalo Speedway HEB had at least a couple of cases yesterday.
