Picked up a bottle of Black Ops this morning at the Market Street HEB in The Woodlands. They only got a case and you have to ask for it. We only knew it was there because our normal beer guy from another store was there for it. Score!

BA says Kroger at Voss/San Felipe has 3 cases. That could be gone by now but if youre in the area, its worth a shot.

If you're in North Dallas, Lonestar Beverages in Carrollton is releasing their stock of Black Ops at 6P tonight.

Tried BB2 Brett at Saint A today. IMO it's the best beer they've made. Too bad it was a mistake.
I just got off the phone with the beer guy there and he asked if I had a reservation on Ol Oi, I almost hung up on him. I've never been asked to make a reservation on a bomber before. Either way I will probably still make the 45 minute truck out there in the morning.
Reservations, lists, bottleshop clubs...oh TX, you're just cutting your teeth on beer rarity stupidity. It gets way worse.
Trying this out, first time I've seen new belgiums stuff down here
Wife and I enjoying a BCBS tonight. Really good stuff!

Picked up a Deschutes Abyss yesterday just because. Sounds interesting. Worth the hype? Drink fresh or cellar?

If you miss out tomorrow, head back to C/S. HEB had tons of abyss and bomb when I was there last weekend. It's worth the day trip up there just to get Laynes, the abyss and bomb are just a bonus.

Went by Sunrise Minimart's "cellar release" this afternoon and managed to snag this...
I'm a bit nostalgic about this beer since my last and only bottle exploded on me...
Also snagged another Abyss at the same cellar release today as well...
Spoke with the beer guys at HEB on Buffalo Speedway and Whole Foods on West Alabama, and they both expect to see Prairie Noir on Tuesday.
