Probably not. It isn't because I don't like bcbs or prefer one over the other. The reason is I have bcbs now and would like to get something else.

I thought it was pretty good... Nice and creamy with a coffee/cocoa flavor and a little dry Pecan-like finish. had it at Hay Merchant for $6.
Now, I will say that I passed on it at HEB as it was 18 bucks...I don't think the beer itself is worth the $18... but if you could convince growler places let you use that sweet bottle for miniature fills it would probably be worth it

The bottle could be used as a refillable growler for 22oz poors. It has a resealable flip top cap.

Racer X is awesome...and the Cafe 15 is pretty damn good too.
I love racer x. I remember bootlegging that back from Healdsburg when they first bottled it. I think they are about a year behind in getting that to TX but better late than never.

Best picture I could find that shows the flip top lid. I too liked the bottle better than the beer but the beer was good. It was $14 at HEB in Austin. Might see if I can get another for the bottle.
Saw Rogue had two beers in bottles like that last night but at $20 a pop I'm going to need a review on the beer.
So I know of 3 others besides The Beer and I who have tried 512 5th Anniversary. My friend and her husband really liked the beer. Not sure what my other friend thinks.
