Has Karbach changed anything with respect to the new beer laws and their tours? Or is it still $7 for the tour and you get a few tastings? Also does anyone know if there will be beer sold to take off premise?
Just saw on facebook that Karbach is releasing Rolling in the Hay on Monday, July 1.
The sequel to Real Ale's Firemans 4 - Four Squared is very very good.
Any Seattle beer threaders? I'll be up that way next week, any suggested brewery/beer bar stops?
Boulevard Tank 7. Not a huge Saison fan, but this one is pretty solid.
saisons are the ****...and Tank 7 is one of my favorites.

Just had Pliny the Elder on tap and a bunch of their house beers at Ladyface (terrible brewery name).
Lady face in augora hills? How'd you like it? I went there a couple times for beers and desert and seem to remember the beer being decent. The torte chocatle pie thing was pretty damned good. Bit of a hipster/granola eater kinda place though iirc
Definitely can't go wrong with Tank 7. I wonder if they've done a barrel aged version?

Dang, about a month too early. I'll be in Seattle at the beginning of August for my honeymoon. We're doing the Road Dog brewery tour.
Does the Karbach Brewery have a gift shop where it sells glasses, t-shirts, etc? Can you buy beer at the brewery?
I'm headed there Saturday after a stop at Petrol. They probably have t-shirts, etc for sale, but no beer for sale yet. There's a $7 tour which will probably get you a few pours.

Plenty of opportunity to get great beer. We made it last year to visit Rogue Brewing in Newport and Ninkasi in Eugene, so we probably won't be stop there again.
