Yes and no. They said it's basically the same beer but they tweaked the recipe a little.

Only one on MBC, and there's no way I'm dropping $70 plus shipping on a four pack.

Prior to right now I didn't know I needed this.

Old school favorite of mine. Definitely gonna pick some of this up and see how much my tastes have changed more than a decade later.

Any food/drink/activity suggestions for Savannah, Hilton Head and Charleston? My wife and I had a trip planned for San Fran/Napa in late February but switched destinations due to California shutdowns.

Tried this 903 Brewers last night. Mostly got it because the fiancee loved the artwork. I've had a few 903s and have liked them.
At first, it was like drinking pineapple upside-down cake and slowly tasted more like straight pineapple/orange juice. It is a Berliner Weisse Style Ale: Pineapple, lactose, vanilla, and marshmallow flavored. The consistency is interesting to me. This is the third beer I've had from them that is in the slushy series. I would drink it again.



We are big MHB fans, so we try to get most of the releases. This one has me a little weary though. Don't really know what to expect from it. Will report back...

Here's a summary I posted after my trip to Charleston in January 2020.

Charleston (roughly in order of preference):

• Westbrook lived up to the expectations - IPAs, sours, stouts were all great. Their barrel program is tremendous.
• Edmund's Oast is such a cool place. Huge variety of beers with no losers.
• Charles Towne Fermentory had some really killer NEIPAs.
• The Hold is Revelry's barrel aged program. They had some really cool barrel aged ales. Nothing absolutely blew my mind, but I liked the creativity and they were all solid.
• Two Blokes had some good hazys and it's a cool place. Worth combining with Westbrook.
• Revelry had a decent selection of middle of the road beers. Their rooftop bar was a great spot at sunset.
• Baker & Brewer didn't blow me away. Part of that might be the poor service, but I was underwhelmed.

friend picked up the pizza beer. said its like drinking a pizza, but not in a bad way. Drinkable, but not something you want more than one of.

I'm trying to find it in Austin/RR, but no luck so far.

Just like a lot of their pickle beer and variants. I wish they made 4oz cans of those because that is about all I can drink at one time. Their michelada beer is good.

Very good. Tastes like a bloody beer.

It is hard to find, so I mix a few ounces of bloody mary mix with Salty Lady.
