To each their own. As with anything, there will be certain flavor profiles that don't work for some. For me, the beer that stands out that I wanted to like but didn't, was Big Bad Baptist. Tasted like an ashtray to me.
Definitely. Death by Coconut was another one for me. Then again, I have trouble with coconut beers. They all taste like Hawaiian Tropic to me.

I'm use to being the odd one with my dislike for IPAs and Sours, so I feel you.
I had planned on making another weekend Vermont run this month to grab Alchemist and Lawson, but I found out VT's restrictions are pretty high and they will probably be on a 14 day quarantine for people from DC through the end of the year.
Drove up to Philly today to grab a few draft Pliny's at Monk's sidewalk seating. Had a few orders I put in at different beer stores and was hoping one would pan out. One was really sketchy, as I placed a Drizly order but put the delivery address as the beer store, hoping I could just get the driver to leave it there and I'd pick it up when I got into town.
Both orders worked out, so it was a stellar trip. Pretty excited about the Double Hearted, as I've never tried that.

Every barrel aged offering I've ever had from Fremont has been outstanding and this didn't disappoint.

Awesome label. Nice 'pre-defense' of the glassware too.
This is a pretty interesting beer. Has a similar soft mouth-feel as Two Hearted, but at 11% it is getting into Triple IPA levels of sweetness. I like it as a novelty, but can't see myself wanting more than one bottle in a sitting. I'm glad I got them only 30 days old, as I may need the next 60 to get through the other 11 bottles.

I guess I wasn't paying much attention when I ordered it. Too focused on locking in the Lawson's. I assumed it was just a DIPA version of Two Hearted. I went back and looked and it was $22 for a sixer of longnecks. If I had noticed that I may have done some more research and only gotten one sixer.
Holy crap, $22? I didn't see that price tag. Might not pick it up after all.

Out of curiosity, where are you? Looks like CO. We're up here this week. Stopped in at the Springs at Coaltrain and it was maybe the best beer selection I've ever seen. (had RR as you have pictured)

Had this the other day at the Venice location and was pretty impressed so I brought a 4 pack home. Not quite as good as on draft but still pretty strong.
