There was a Wheatwine last year and mayyybe the year before, not sure.

All of 2015 barleywine was infected, right? How was that?

I think I drank mine within a month or two of getting it, and could tell something was off, but it was still pretty good.

I've been looking forward to getting back up here. Spent some time in Pullman last time. Both towns are pretty cool little college towns in the middle of an agricultural region.

Had another flight last night and then loaded up on some cans at a local bottle shop (Pour Company). GREAT selection.

Had a nice little beer run in Spokane yesterday. Most breweries in Washington State are pick up only again (as of the last couple of weeks), but some are starting to offer snacks and food trucks (like we're seeing in Texas) to get the 51% threshold.

Thankfully For The Love Of God Brewing was open, because they were awesome. Fruited sours and IPAs. Best stuff I've had in Spokane.

There's also a bottle shop and tap room called Community Pint that has a tremendous selection. They also brew on-site and might even do some contract brewing. They've got some really highly rated beers that you can only get on tap there. Unfortunately on-site consumption is a no go for now and I didn't need 64oz crowlers. But I picked up several cans of other stuff from their cooler. The owner makes runs out to Portland, Bozeman, etc to keep the good stuff in the cooler.

I had to drink a Great Notion hazy and a Valley Brewing Co. milkshake because they wouldn't fit in the checked bag.

Sooo... my neighbor and I decided to make a podcast during all this Covid madness called Beering Ain't Easy, centered around drinking craft beer, rating beers, and BS-ing about a whole host of topics from a non-expert point of view (heavy on the BS). We'll highlight beers across the US but will have a heavy emphasis on Houston and other Texas beers.
