These are liquor stores, so these cashiers likely know their products. Not like your typical HEB cashier. All the grocery stores in CO only carry 3.2% beer, (exception; 1 location of each company can carry full beer)

huge end cap of this stuff at HEB. Its pretty solid.

Does anyone have an opinion on He'Brew Origin?
Just saw that surly released their abrasive this week. I was over in Minneapolis last weekend for the holiday weekend and of course it wasn't out yet. If you find yourself in or around the cities in the next month or so I strongly suggest grabbing a couple of 4 packs of this. If any of my coworkers head over there in the next few weeks I'll have em grab some, maybe for a Christmas week bottle share in the tine?

I ended up at Hay Merchant for lunch today and had a Karbach BBA Hellfighter. That stuff is tasty!
Picked up some Alaskan Winter yesterday, not bad.
Homemade pizza and 90 minute IPA tonight
I picked up a Rogue Pumpkin and Double Chocolate, as well as a Alaskan Smoked Porter and a Mint Chocolate collaboration before flying out to CO. On the hunt for RRBC tomorrow.
Damnit...no Pliny bottles, but one place does have a keg tonight, so we might hit that up after dinner. Picked up a Damnation, Redemption, Salvation, and a Racer X.
I just found out that one of my favorite wineries is using his old barrels to make beer with the help of the brewer at Societe in San Diego (who in turn used to be at RRBC). I think this will end well for me!

The jester king le petite prince is a saison. But it's a not a modern one, it clocks in under 3% like the traditional saisons.
So you're paying quite a bit for a bomber with very little alcohol.
try the boulevard saison bret, it is top 3 rated of the style.

i would have suggested New Glarus Saison (one of my favorites), but you'd need a hook up in Wisconsin. I'm out, so sending my gf on a mission when she goes home for christmas.
