I had my first Hellfighter last night...a very solid beer. I also had a Racer 5 on tap. I've been drinking so many other (new to me) beers lately that I forgot how good that beer is! I love the fact that it's widely available too.

I picked up a six of Stone Levitation today, a four pack of Dogfish Head Tweason'ale, and a Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer. Supposedly the Vampire Slayer was brewed with blessed water, the tanks had crosses attached them and they hung garlic too.

I was in Central Market and went ahead and rchased the Poisitive Contact, as well as a Burton Baton, the DFH gluten free, Samuel Adams Cream Stout, and a Magic Hat Ourtoberfest. Best assortment they've had since I moved back over here.

I just had the XXIV as well at BRC. I was very pleased with it! Also had the Deep Ellum IPA which was good. It reminded me of the Bomb Factory where I told Ludacris he'd never amount to anything.

Checked out a local liquor store here in DeKalb, IL and picked up an sixer of Goose Island Nut Brown Ale for dinner - pretty tasty. I'll be doing a bit of "consulting" to figure out what I should pick up to bring back to CS. I've already picked up a DFH 120min because a buddy of mine really wanted one.

Karbach Bourbon barrel hell fighter growler via hay merchant

Good stuff. The Bourbon is strong in this one - a little syrupy but tasty.

Drinking a 2011 Rahr Snowmageddon...really think this one ages well. The chocolate and coffee flavors are much more pronounced. Think I'll let the 3 2012s continue to age....

I thought the bourbon barrel aged Hellfighter was a damn good offering. I'd like to see that bottled/ canned. The merlot barrel Rodeo Clown made my elevator boner flaccid. It was indeed a locker room myth.

I drank my bomber of Clown Shoes Vampire Slayer last night. It's an Imperial American Stout. I'm not one to drink stouts very often. This one was not bad.
