Apparently just a slight mod. to the existing Hoptober seasonal. While it's still July, apparently it's just a week or two away from our nights getting into the 50s.. so, I'm looking forward to that.

Didn't get to try one last night, they were warm and it was late..

Oh, and there's a hunt for red hoptober joke in here somewhere.

I can't wait. That said, I'm probably heading to Vail this weekend because I want to play golf in 60* temps.

Fall is awesome in Denver: weather, leaves changing colors, fall beers, elk rut in Estes Park, football season, and ski season is right around the corner. The weather was great from late February through mid-June (tons of (55-75* degree days), so the heat of the last 6 weeks is really minor in perspective (though I still get annoyed). It's great having a beer on the balcony when it's 50* in the evening.

proud, which course will you be playing in Vail? I played VCC and Cotton Ranch back in 99. VCC was ok, but Cotton Ranch was awesome. If you get a chance, go play at CR.

I mainly play at Eagle Vail in the mountains. It is really nice and cheap. I've never heard of Cotton Ranch, but I'll look into it. I'm considering the Beaver Creek course because my wife wants to stay there.

If anyone is really jonesing for some, I had a brother with nothing to do today and ended up with at least a sixer and a couple bombers, so I could probably part with a couple.

jetch - have you tried one of the DR12's yet? The DR's aren't always up my alley in terms of preferences, but this rendition sounds pretty good

Just had lunch with clients at Hearsay Lounge in Houston and we tore up thier DR tap. $15 damn dollars a pint!

It was actually damn tasty! Needless to say after a few I'm ready for a nap, but I would compare it to a better, more potent version of Saint A Christmas ale.
