Yeah I honestly totally forgot what style this thing was, just been sitting in the fridge.

It is smoky but not overly, although it doesn't do much for me. Again, probably just personal preference, but I'm not blowin my zipper out over it

I don't think I did. It was good, not great. I just seemed remembering that I wished I had drank my 12 oz bottle of it with a barbecue style meal.

Austin folks, FYI, Red Horn out in round rock is doing a brewery night this thursday 17th for Deschutes, They said they are going to have bottles releases of 2015 Abyss and Dissident.

Gah I wish I could make it down to JK this weekend to snag a bottle! Pretty epic accomplishment for them. Cool to see a TX brewery be able to do something like this.

If anyone does happen to land on an extra bottle they don't want, I'd be more than willing to try and work out a trade with you.
