That came out two weeks ago, but it's still available. I don't know if I can fit any more beer for Saturday in my checked bag. You never know though...

Ok... I actually work and stuff and this thread blows up.

Here is what I've gathered...
1. Meet at 10 am at p-wonk's
2. Heat up BSD's meat
3. Drink NCol's juicy bits
4. Eat meat after approximately 90 minutes
5. Profit?

Also, I'll be peacing out after the meat is heated up. Bringing a brisket back to my tailgate. I'll bring along an Atrial and a 6 pack of Live Oak Hefe to share.

Not exactly sure what time me and IrishAggie will be out there, but I assume it will probably be around 11ish. My pops who lurks the thread sometimes said he may pop by with us and bring some Cali goodies he brought back from last week, like some Toolbox/Lost Abbey stuff probably. I'm hoping to get some pork shoulder cooked up to bring out along with some good stuff from the cellar.

I've seen Karbach's 5th Anniversary Quintuple IPA popping up around Dallas. With all that's in it, is it basically considered a barley wine? (similar to 90min)

Drink fresh or ok to hold on to?

They say it's an IPA but it taste more like a strong ale/barley wine than an IPA. It didn't taste to me that the fresher it is the better it would be. Probably ok to hang on to.

Definitely not an IPA, but it's a well-hopped strong ale. Good now, probably just as good later on.

Just found out I was selected for promotion to Major today. Taking it easy on the celebration tonight with this as I have my PT test next week but I really like this beer. I think the can was better. I'm saving the heavy hitters til I actually pin on next year sometime.
