Brux was distributed thru Sierra Nevada lines. The DFW stores were getting it yesterday, today and tomorrow and the stores in Denton county(flower mound) should be getting it at the end of this week or first of next.
We're in the "repartment", as my 3 year old says...sign the construction loan paperwork on Friday to start the new build....

I am just happy that I made it to work on time today. I got to a point last night where I was pulling out random crap that I had never seen in my fridge before.
I will say that the Lost Abbey Carnevale was f'n good. But that may have been the alcohol talking at that point. It was a solid choice....
The Wicked Beaver (out of Lubbock) was sort of depressing. Their black ale was more like a schwartzbier that was way too smokey. It was just not enjoyable. The cream ale was decent but nothing I would go out of my way to get. Their timber ale was lackluster. I hope they improve their crap since they are only 5 months old, but their lineup is not something to get people to drink who normally go for crappy beer. They need to broaden their beer lineup....
Pliny was older but I needed to drink it to get it out of my fridge...but it was better than I was expecting.
Midnight Sun double black IPA was damn good. But I am a sucker for IPAs and black IPAs. It was definitely one of the best black IPAs that I have had...it was overly hoppy (80 some IBUs) and still had a strong malty presence. I was surprised and very happy with it. Just pissed that I shared it instead of drinking it all myself.
