My son and I are fairly set on going to the 2020 game in Philly; would be a good experience.

I've been to a few.

It is just a football game, frankly.

They rotate the neutral field b/w Philly, Jersey, and occasionally DC.

My recommendation would be to go see a game at Michie Stadium -- which is a beautiful venue -- and visit the campus, the museum, the cemetery.

I second this recommendation

Went last year in Philly. Was a lot like a football game though a ton of fly overs and Trump was present. It was fine for me since I'm 2 hours from Philly. Wouldn't travel across the country unless you went to Annpolis or West Point.

Worst part though, besides Army winning, was the Flag Officer doing the oath of enlistment for new recruits and having to read it from a card.

I highly recommend trying to see a game at both schools. I've not been to the Army Navy game but I have done one at each campus. Atmosphere is pretty damned cool and the campuses are beautiful as well as chocked full of history.

3rd the "go see a game at west point" recommendation.
Michie Stadium is a cool experience. That part of the world is beautiful.

Biased since I'm a grad but the game time atmosphere is hard to beat - very different than a game at Kyle field. I've been to 6 games including the 4 as a Cadet and all but one was incredibly cold

I went to one at Baltimore I think in 2014 or 2015. I was Army, and when the Black Hawks flew over and all the cadets and players went nuts.....that was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had.

I went to Air Force/Navy last fall at USAFA.

I would definitely recommend a game at one of the academies instead of neutral.

The fly overs were super badass though, it was a whole season of flyovers at Kyle in one game
