I wasn't sure where to post this but I'm looking for some help.

Where would be a good place to try and find some authentic Texas history items for sale?

I have an uncle that was a medic in Vietnam and a huge Texas history buff. Whether it's a musket, revolver, old books, framed items etc I would like to get him something special but wasn't sure where to start.

Any input is appreciated

Start by Googling Texas history memorabilia and you will probably end up on Ebay. Any guns with a Texas history story are going to be with collectors or museums and probably cost prohibitive.

Heritage Auctions in Dallas has a Texana auction every March. Mostly, it's maps, documents, books, etc., but they also often have Texas-related items. The cool stuff does get pricy at times. You can look up past auction items on their site for an idea of what's come through.
