I have a friend (female if it matters) that was elisted in the Navy, did her 4 years and got out.
During that time she got her nursing degree, certifications etc and would like to return to the Navy in
their Nursing Corps as an officer. She is aware of the requirements for OCS etc and the physical requrements etc are not a problem.
The issue she's having is knowing who to talk to. The "regular" recruiters blew her off and were of no help. Geographically she is not near anywhere that is tradionally "Naval" (Northern Indiana) so finding an officer's recruiting post isn't as easy as finding one for, say the Corps of Cadets etc.
My question is, does anyone here know who she should talk to or have a connection/contact that she could reach out to? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Edit: This friend is also originally from TX and lived in Bryan for a while, so it is a homegirl.
