I know the regular non-military epic goes up but does the military epic go up?

Have stayed at the hale koa a couple of times for both work and pleasure. Good place to stay, nicer than a VOQ but doesn't come close to all the other name brand hotels on Waikiki. The biggest saving is on parking if you have a car. Also rates depend on your rank so once you hit O-4 you get pretty close to the military/per diem rates at the local hotels (as long as you can find the rate, which is ~$170/night as of right now iirc).

Another sweet spot to stay is at the Navy Lodge at NAS North Island. The lodge is really nice and they also have private cottages right on the beach which are perfect for families and larger groups as well. You wind up basically having a semi-private beach to yourself.

Looks like the military Epic did go up, still $129 is an amazing price for Epic, hell it'd be an awesome deal even for an Epic Local

Look at the cabins at Bellows AFS. We've stayed at Hale Koa and Bellows and you cannot beat a cabin 20 ft from the beach for $100 a night. If you do decide to go there make sure you reserve early because they fill up fast!

Bellows is gorgeous! A must if you've got the opportunity. I can't speak for the accommodations as I saw as a Grunt.
