I had the honor of getting to talk with his son at Muster in KC. I didn't find out about the funeral until a few days after the otherwise I would have been there. I have the bio that was written about LT. COL (RET) William Hamilton, Jr that was provided to me if anyone is interested. It has several pictures of him and his family as well as a letter home.
