In 2011, Texas A&M embarked on the largest renovation to the Quad since its construction in 1939.

The newly renovated Quad provides a positive living and learning environment for the Corps of Cadets.

Phase I of the renovation was completed in August 2016 and included a complete overhaul of dorms 1 through 8; new landscaping, benches, trees and lighting on the north end of the Quad; and the opening of the Susan & Michael J. Plank '83 and Stephen C. Ash '87 Leadership Learning Centers.

Phase ll of the renovations finished dorms 9 through 12 and landscaping on the south end.

Now we just need an archival-quality clip of the entire Corps forming up on the new Quad for the very first time--in uniform, not PT clothes. It's history in the making.......

Should we tell the Foundation that the sketch is not "of the Quad," but rather a proposed sketch of The New Area, as indicated by the modification prior to construction of the positions of Dorms 11 and 12, drawn here parallel to Dorms 9 and 10 but ultimately constructed adjacent Duncan?
