Anyone use audiobooks? Not much time for reading in my house but my commute would give me 10-20 hours a week to absorb some good books.

I listen to audiobooks and podcasts every day with a similar commute.

extreme ownership - jocko willink and leif babbin

all of those audiobooks are pretty good, but I find history/military stuff easier to physically read. I find myself having to go back and re-listen to a lot of parts of history and military stuff. novels are easier to listen to, but obviously you aren't learning as much. I try to stick to historical novels for the most part, with a couple other randoms thrown in.

I know you said "professional development", but since I have no idea what profession you are trying to develop, I just put everything I have listened to.

It's not in audio but it is a must have. Both father and son are West Point grads and former Army officers who have dedicated their lives to developing leaders. After leaving the Army Dave entered the corporate world then started his own company, Anderson Leadership Solutions.
