Doolittle's second-in-command, Maj. John A. Hilger '32 was the pilot for Crew 14 and was joined by fellow Texas Aggies Lt. Robert M. Gray '41 (Pilot, Crew 3) and Lt. James M. Parker '41 (Co-pilot, Crew 9). Lt. Glen C. Roloson '41 was a co-pilot on a reserve crew aboard the Hornet for the raid.
