Does anyone live around this area?

I am looking at a couple of homes, but was wondering if this is in the flight path or "noise exposure" area of the airport. What could one expect? Also...crime? I have young children.

Yes and yes it is on the flight path typically for landing so not as bad as the other side of McAllister park where they take off

Can't it is 530 every morning by the first flight of the day

Also make sure you look at the house during our rain storms you would be suprised at how quickly streets and yards flood

It's been ghetto B for 30 years bc of the section 8 apartments

Prices are lower than the JEB at Alon

Also, rented a house on Patricia on the San Pedro end of the street back in the mid-90s. Got burgled. Took a gun, some jewelry, and lot of stereo stuff plus my luggage. packed the former in the latter and rolled it down the street toward San Pedro/Ramsey (per neighbor).

Wow those houses are selling for a pretty penny

If you are looking at 414 Tammy it may have burnt down in 1992 bc some one may have been shooting off jumping jack fireworks in august that landed on the garage

Daughter had a house in Enchanted Forest for about 7 years, which is on the edge of harmony hills, she loved living there, no problems with crime, and the airport flyover wasn't a big deal. Love the oak trees in that area, the native oaks are larger than anything we have in castle hills. Oh, know josh's house well, I'll tell his dad his old house is on the market.

Lots of yards there got trenched back in the day too, they never caught those damn hoodlums that i know of.

Yeah, GhettoB pretty well knocked Handy Andy's dick in the dirt with their super low prices to force the issue. Once we closed, they moved me down to San Pedro and Hildebrand, I bailed shortly after that.

My wife and I owned a home on Mystery - decent neighborhood, but we moved out to NW Central area 10 years ago.

Decent neighbors, good location etc. Hopefully it has stayed that way.

Hard to beat 5 minutes from elementary middle school and high school

Plus a community pool

5 minutes to 410
3 minutes to 281
5 minutes to airport

I have a listing coming up in Harmony Hills that's going to be listed as an "as is" fixer upper. It's on a cul-du-sac and on a good size lot. Let me know if you'd be interested in info on it.
