Yes, this will be a tough one to distill down. Trying to keep my opinion out of it:
Quico Canseco is the former rep for TX-23, now Will Hurd's district. All in all, not a very impressive candidate nor member while he was in D.C. and it showed bc he was a one-cycle guy
Chip Roy is Ted Cruz's former Chief of Staff. Cancer survivor and attorney. All in all, his conservative policy bondafides will be near the strongest in this field.
Matt McCall primary'd Lamar Smith two cycles in a row, and got no where. He was not an impressive candidate at all - both in charisma and ability to relate. Seems to be a follower and not a leader.
Susan Navariz - former San Marcos mayor. Has ran in the general against Doggett and got no where - which isnt a knock on her due to TX-35's district make-up.
William Negley - im sure you have seen the commercials... He comes from a wealthy family.
Jennifer Sarver - appears to be appealing to the "anti-Trump" contingent/main street republicans.
Signed,
A former GOP congressional aide
