I found this a couple of years ago, but finally got back up there to document it. In the SW corner of the art collection on the first floor of the old building, hangs a painting used as part of the opening credits for John Wayne's movie. Apparently an Aggie knew of it and asked to purchase it for the University (I guess College at that time). Mr. Wayne, declining to sell it donated it to the University.

Good Bull.

Do you know the backstory on his preference for Sq. 14?

Zip - No I do not know the back story. Probably is a pretty good one if anyone could find out.
