The wife and I will be in your neighborhood this weekend and would like some recs. I've done very little research coming up with Magnolia Pancake Haus so far. We are also really close to Big Apple Bagels. I know there are tons of Mexican food restaurants, I just can't remember where and whats best.
We don't care if its chkn and waffles, breakfast tacos, freedom toast, etc. Just a good ole breakfast environment with great food. We appreciate the time and help! I did take a peep at the breakfast taco thread but that thing is a monster. I don't have the time to wade through it.

Magnolia is outstanding. There are two locations on the Northside now. The new Huebner location might be a shorter wait, but be prepared to wait a little. It's worth it.

Magnolia or you're doing it wrong

Magnolia is by far my first choice. A brunch spot that I have heard great things about is Tost at Blanco and Cadillac Dr.

We did Magnolia last weekend. And damn, it is outstanding. Can't wait to go back.

Outstanding Ags! Gotta love a consensus. We will roll out of bed now and go check Magnolia out. One of our very rare nights without the three kids so we are kinda soaking it all in.

Magnolia... Quite a line though.

The Monterrey's brunch is pretty good.

If you plan ahead, you can go to Magnolia and leave your number. They will text you when your table is ready. To kill time, you can go across the highway to Huebner Oaks. They have a of store to just browse around in. Just a thought. Wait at Magnolia can run over an hour in a half.
