We are getting a pool in a month or so and expanding our entire back porch area and we're installing a glass door mini fridge into the bar. It needs to be about 36 " tall to match the height of the rest of the bar. I saw some decent ones at Lowe's and Walmart that were all around $200 but does anyone have any recommendations on one? Thanks!

My company builds outdoor kitchens. There are all sorts of manufactures of Outdoor fridges, just look for Outdoor kitchen appliances, you can find them all at bbqguys.com . That said, they are all relatively expensive for what they do. You could buy 3 to 10 $200 ones and Walmart or Lowes and replace then every 4-5 years when they give out for the cost of one "designed" for the outdoors.

Blaze has a pretty good warranty on their refrigerators, but yea you're probably better off buying a cheap one and plan to replace it every 3 years.

Was going to post the same, currently in year 5 of a $180 glass front Danby fridge that's still going strong.

When we built an outdoor kitchen in 2020 we installed a $1500 Summit "outdoor" fridge.

Thank god for warranties. It was replaced 3 times in 5 years because the compressors fail. Cheaper for them to send a new fridge than pay someone to replace the compressors.

Zero% chance I'll pay for an "outdoor" fridge again. I'm out of warranty now and will go to Walmart or Home Depot when this compressor inevitably fails.

I've had this one for 8 years, 4 of which have been outside. Worked perfectly, just have to clean the coil fan every year. My buddy has had his "outdoor" fridge replaced I think twice during that time.
