Right about now I wish I had some hurricane shutters as I listen to this rain and pine cones slamming into my front windows. I've used wood in the past (During IKE) but after a good rain....and storing them in a hot garage attic, they all warped to hell.

Does anybody down here on the gulf coast own any storm shutters/accordian shutters, panels, etc? What do you guys that have them recommend?

We have electric shutters but have recently installed hurricane windows. If you are in the Galveston area look up John's Shutters in Hitchcock.
