We are wanting to repaint all the doors in our home. We have never really liked the color. We have 23 doors that would need to be repainted. Wondering what that is going to cost us? We live in Central Texas if that helps.

Most of the cost will be in the prep. What kind of doors? Flat slab, stile and rail, etc? Time to light sand or remove existing paint will add up for that many doors. I would estimate a couple hundred a door. We had some of our original wood doors strip and repainted for like $150 a door but that was a few years ago

Doors perform best, warp least and may postpone another paint job if painted on ALL SIX sides to seal 'em up

That's kind of what I'm figuring. Was hoping it would be less but preparing for around $3k.

One client on a tighter budget than yours had panel doors, so that they were able to only DIY paint the panels inside the frame/casing .... with a coordinating color that made the whole door appeal rate a B+

Another client had slab doors UPstairs (not so public) and mostly kids, so found enough complementary color stickers to cover most of the original door color to save money ... until their ship came in or resale "as is".
