I'm struggling to find the right products for Randy Lemon's schedule - I've got a good pre-emergent lined up but can't seem to find a good 3-1-2 quick release, 4/3-1-2 slow release or fall one.

He suggests "Nitro-Phos" brand (Holy moly expensive) but I can't seem to find it in store.

Ace Hardware should carry all the Nitro-Phos and Micro-Life products he recommended (RIP)

...go into the store. ACE isn't Lowes or Home Depot. They have tons of stuff in store that isn't on the website.

I would go with Turfstar by Nelson Plant food. Randy was high on this fertlizer. I have found it to be cheaper than Nitrophos and it flows out of the spreader a lot smoother. The prill size if perfect size. Plus the slow and easy turfstar product feeds up to 6 months. If you are in the Bellville area go by Nelson plant food and buy it direct.

Not sure where you are located. If in Houston, Southwest Fertilizer carries all the Nitro Phos products he recommended.

Spring fertilization with slow- or controlled-release 3-1-2 or 4-1-2 ratios, such as Nitro-Phos Super Turf 19-4-10, Easy Gro Premium 19-5-9, and Fertilome Southwest Greenmaker 18-4-6. Nelson Plant Food Turf Star (Bruce's Blend 18-4-6) Fertilome also has a zero-phosphorus 18-0-6 formula, but it's not widely marketed. Nelson's also has a 6 month formula known as Slow & Easy 22-2-10; Southwest Fertilizer has their proprietary Southwest Premium Gold Slow Release 15-5-10 Premium Gold

Theses in bold may be available up north
