We're about to demo the kitchen and change the layout. The kitchen fridge is moving into the dining room, I'm going to use a brita pitcher for drinking water, and I'm looking for ideas on what to do about a sink and liquid disposal.

I figured you all may have some good ideas and any thoughts are appreciated.

Camp sink in a bathroom and using the toilet for liquid disposal are all I've come up with thus far.

You are on the right track - at least that's how we handled it.

Limit the cups/dishes as much as possible by using disposables and then wash up what you need in the bathroom.

It SUCKS!!! but will be worth with when you get back in the new kitched.

If you happen to have a utility sink in garage or utility I would use that over bathroom. The bathroom sink was a pain due to how small the sink to faucet ratio was compared to a normal kitchen sink. We didn't have a utility sink so the bathroom is what we used.

Disposal didn't come into play since it is pretty much microwave and grilling for cooking. Just put scraps in a ziploc bag to keep any odors down until trash day.

Being without the kitchen sink was by far the worst part of the reno.
